About Golden Girl Maple Syrup

Hi! I’m Katherine, and I make maple syrup in northern Vermont.

I started sugaring this year on my husband’s family farm and do most everything myself: tap the trees, woods repairs, tubing repairs, Dalton, Dillon & William from the farm log the trees and cut the firewood for the arch, and we (along with the “help” of family and friends drinking beer) boil the sap using wood in a 100-year-old sugarhouse on the property.

I come from a family of farmers, and it feels natural to continue that kind of work here in Vermont.

Every batch of syrup is different, but that’s the beauty of it.

Thanks for being here. ✌🏼
